History of establishment of The State Automobile Inspection Department

Every year, July 3 is celebrated as the "Day of Creation of the State Automobile Inspection".
In March 1936, the state vehicle inspection was conducted in the center and in places under the authority of the Workers' and Peasants' Militia Headquarters, and on July 3 of the same year, the Council of the People's Commissariat of the Soviet Union approved the Regulation "On the State Vehicle Inspection".
The State Automobile Inspection Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan is the only body that implements state management in the field of road traffic safety.
Compliance with the law and maintenance of order on the transport roads of the country is in many ways related to the activities of the employees of this field. Inspection officers are constantly pursuing their responsible duties and work around the clock to reduce the number of violations among road users.
The government of the Republic of Tajikistan always provides favorable conditions for raising the status of the State Automobile Inspection Department employee. Throughout the years of the country's independence, with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the State Automobile Inspection Department was provided with good working conditions, provided with modern machinery and equipment, modern transport and other technical means. In these years, dozens of service buildings were built in the cities and regions of the country, and road inspectors were provided with service vehicles and work tools. Staff offices were renovated and equipped with the latest technology.
With the constant support of the Government of the country, video recording devices have been installed in the streets and avenues of Dushanbe, which helps to record violations and other traffic incidents.
The State Automobile Inspection Departmentof the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan conducts its activities to ensure road safety, prevent crimes in the field of transport, based on the requirements of existing laws and decisions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, orders and instructions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
