Note: To obtain a driver's license, you must contact DOSAAF the Public Organization for the Assistance of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan for short-term driver training courses. After completing the courses, the list of completed groups will be provided to the secretariat of the State Traffic Inspectorate, and will be sent to pass practical exams of traffic rules at the Examination Department of the State Traffic Inspectorate.

Payments of the following tariffs agreed upon with the Antimonopoly Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Faroz-Aiti CJSC:

1. State license plates of vehicles of individuals 180.00 somoni, (of which State Automobile Inspection Department 27.00 somoni).
2. State license plates of vehicles of legal entities and passengers 180.00 somoni, (of which State Automobile Inspection Department 27.00 somoni).
3. State license plates of vehicles of diplomatic and consular missions, non-governmental legal entities 230.00 somoni (of which State Automobile Inspection Department) 34.50 somoni).
4. State license plates of vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers 80.00 somoni, (of which (State Automobile Inspection Department12.00 somoni).
5. State motorcycle license plates 80.00 somoni, (State Automobile Inspection Department contribution 12.00 somoni).
